Tralfamadore

Down in the town where all is mine,
I was on my way back home.
The night was giddy and sultry enough to hide
The last ounce of common sense.

What's the time now?
Does it dawn on me ahead?

With every step, one by one, trees
Grew next to me and above.
Preoccupied with my dishevelled bleeding self,
I did not spot the coming turn.

Where's the time now?
Is "No Future!" still around?
Where's the present?
Now's a future, anyway.

There must have been a crafty slot
To this dimension of time.
So here I am sometime, somewhere and God knows how,
Invisible but to myself.

Where's the time now?
Is "No Future!" still around?
Where's the present?
Now's a future, anyway.

The Atrocities of Shadows

Switch off the day, let a candle sway on the wall lightly.
A monster comes when the flame is carelessly led nowhere.
Far memories should not play with fire and ice surely.
With a spiteful dance, my ideals die on time's blind pyre.

In this forgotten song, the atrocities of shadows
Melt down into a form of pure nonchalance.

Sly pacts between mysterious discretion and bold gossip
Leave me no choice but to seek out what hides beyond shadows.

In this forgotten song, the atrocities of shadows
Melt down into a form of pure nonchalance.

The sounds of shapes that create harmony from raw senses
Remind me of times my mom sang sad lullabies for me.

In this forgotten song, the atrocities of shadows
Melt down into a form of pure nonchalance.

My Anarchy

It's hard to believe, but scanning my past, I swear, I could be reading
Nineteen Eighty-Four. In fact, it could have been that year.
I really don't know whether I had a dream or the rebel spoke in my
Intoxicated brain, through the tainted mouth - up in the air.
Whatever it was I yearned to break out of the putrid barren womb,
The dark dystopia to the misty wet place in the sun.
In the blink of an eye some twenty years on, the fuzzy theories got
ferociously thrown up or the dreams came true.

Here is my anarchy in an independent state of suspense.

It may seem that things are happening here now and that's a fact,
However dubious. Still the mystery is ubiquitous.
A roof over my head, but I realize the ground under my feet is
Just a wooden floor. Isn't that good enough?

Here is my anarchy in an independent state of suspense.

Like a modern vagabond, I don't think I belong here or there or any
Other place on earth. I roam just behind tranquillity.
My rebellion's shadow loiters somewhere out there, I may feel a bitter wind
And shivers on my back, but it's not yet Room 101.

Here is my anarchy in an independent state of suspense.
